An applied course in the design and analysis of experiments. Topics include: general considerations in the design of an experiment; standard design such as Latin square, balanced incomplete block, split plot and nested; pooling of experiments; multiple comparison techniques; orthogonal contrasts and polynomials; factorial arrangement of treatments; fixed, random, mixed models; comfounded designs; fractional replication.
