This course consists primarily of biostatistical methods used in pharmaceutical and medical research with particular application to cancer studies and toxological animal studies. Some attention is given to related failure-timemethods used in industry to test product reliability. Theoretical development of some of these methods is discussed. Extensive data analysis is done using SAS ( or compartible statistical packages). Topics include censoring Kaplan-Meier survival curves, life-tables, two sample nonparametric procedures
