My Experience as Biostatistician at WMed

Abstract:
Joe will talk about his experience working as a biostatistician for WMU Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. Topics include the role of the school in medical research, and the role of the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology in research at the school. Several case studies of ongoing research projects will be discussed to give a concrete picture of the biostatistician’s role.

Bio:
Joseph Billian received his Master of Science degree in Statistics from Western Michigan University in April, 2019 along with a graduate certificate in Biostatistics. He has worked as a biostatistician for Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine since May, 2019.
