The last few years have witnessed a significant development in statistical methods for genetic data analysis, owing to the massive amount of data generated with high-throughput technologies. In this talk, I will briefly introduce some background on genetic data, how they are generated, what the challenges are and where we can get them. Then I will focus on some topics in genetic data analysis including gene-gene interaction, gene-environment interaction and data integration, and show some of our recent work along these lines. I will illustrate the implementation through some case studies.
