Sports Injury Research and Prevention
Abstract: The Datalys Center is a non-profit organization that specializes in epidemiological research specifically related to sports and other forms of physical activity. Our core programs include injury surveillance in the collegiate, high school and youth sports settings. As a statistical analyst, my role is to support these programs through the management and analyses of complex, multicenter, and multiyear datasets. In particular, I will discuss our project comparing injury rates in collegiate men's soccer between the 2011 and 2016 academic years.
Bio: Aristarque Djoko graduated from the WMU statistics master's program in 2014.
