Bradford Dykes
Department of Statistics
Western Michigan University

The topic of mental health continues to gain ground in the U.S. each year. Low self-esteem has the ability to affect nearly every aspect of an individual's life and can occur at any age, childhood through adulthood. This study examines the relationship between self-esteem levels and gender, race, and cumulative grade point average for college students.

This analysis was completed as part of the doctoral preliminary exam process in the Department of Statistics.
