Statistical Internships: What to Expect?

How are internships obtained? How much statistics are you expected to know? What programming skills are required?

We will hear from some students who went on internships this summer.

Benedict Dormitorio will report on his experience with the Biostat and Information Sciences department of MPI Research, a contract research company that conducts toxicology studies for preclinical trials.

Bilal Yurdakul was an intern with the analytic team of L2C Inc., a company that creates credit (risk) scoring for banks, insurance, and marketing companies.

Jordan McQueen and Abby Martlew will report on their respective internships with the Business Analytics and Investment group at Kellogg Company.

All statistics students are expected to attend.
