Abstract:
Statistical research can seem intimidating. By looking at elements
common to most research, we will hopefully gain a simpler perspective
on the research process.
As an illustration, we will discuss historical and recent developments in survival
data analysis.

Josh Naranjo is Professor in the Department of Statistics
and director of the Statistical Consulting Center.
