Epidemiology, by Example

We will learn terminology and methods in epidemiology by looking at several studies in the literature. There are many statistical success stories in epidemiology, but will talk at length about a failure: the controversial case of estrogen replacement therapy. The old adage is true here -- you learn more from failure than success.

All statistics students are expected to attend.
