    Abstract:
The Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) is the largest gathering of statisticians and data scientists held in North America every year. Highlights of the JSM experience from a student perspective will be discussed.

  2. Biostatistics Internship at Charles River Laboratories

    Abstract:
Finding an internship that matches your career goals puts you a step above in career development. We will discuss the drug development process focusing mainly on drug discovery, how the number of compounds are reduced from the discovery stage all the way to the market, responsibilities of a biostatistics intern in a pre-clinical research company, and coursework connections.

  3. Biostatistics Internship at Celgene

    Ida Alcantara

    Abstract:
In recent years, biotech companies have explored the use of multivariate analysis in biotech processing, including multiple regression, partial least squares, and principal component analysis.
