Longitudinal Models Theory and Practice

Mary Dupuis Sammel, Sc.D.
Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology
Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics
University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine

My participation in the PENN Ovarian Aging study cohort has been a great experience for training students, and developing creative application of statistics in order to appropriately answer substantive research questions.

This talk will review (briefly) statistical models for marginal and conditional inference and discuss 2 recently published papers which address interesting research questions: one using elementary probability (1), and another using an ordinal Markov model (2).
