Random Number Generation
Random numbers may be generated using two different sampling strategies
: with and without replacement. With replacement sampling may result in
repeated digits within the same trial. However, when sampling without replacement
the numer of values to be drawn should not exceed the range as values are
not repeated. Click on Random
number generation for resampling trials. The inputs needed are

ID This is an ID number that you may pick. If the same random numbers
are to be produced again, the same ID must be entered in the ID box. Otherwise
a different set of random numbers will be produced.

Number of Trials This is the number of times the experiment is repeated.

Minimum Value The smallest integer that could be in the random sample.

Maximum Value The largest integer that could be in the random sample.

Number to be drawn The number of random integers (between the minimum
and maximum) to be picked for every trial.
In the example below 8 numbers between 1 and 10 are drawn 10 times with
replacement.
