## Problem Description

You are to produce a grade book (SAS data set) and a grade report
(from PROC print). A data set is given in a plain text file
gradeBook.txt, accessible by
SAS FILENAME URL statement. It is a combined raw grade book from
5 classes identified by the respective teachers (instructors, i.e.).
Your WIN will set a random seed so that the raw grade data of a randomly
selected class will be assigned to you for grading (in SAS). The columns of
the combined grade book are ID, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, q1, q2, q3, q4,
q5, midterm, final, and instructor. There are 6 homework assignments,
5 quizzes, a midterm exam and a final exam.
A SAS data set named `raw`

will first be created for the class
you are grading. This data set has columns ID, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6,
q1, q2, q3, q4, q5, midterm, and final.

This data set is then read into
data set named `grades`

, adding more columns:
miss_hwks (number of missed homework assignments), miss_quizzes (number of
missed quizzes), hwk_total (homework total score), quiz_total (quiz total
score), total (total score of course work, out of 120), and grade.

To assign grade first note that a grade of X is assigned if **any** one
of the conditions below is met:
- 5 or 6 missed homework assignments;
- 4 or 5 missed quizzes;
- missed both exams.

Other grades are assigned using total score according to the following
scale:

E |
D |
DC |
C |
CB |
B |
BA |
A |
A+ |

<60 |
<65 |
<70 |
<75 |
<80 |
<85 |
<90 |
<110 |
≥110 |

A report is then to be given from this final data set.
## Coding Exam

You are provided a
SAS Codes (FinalExam.sas)
in which many coding errors occur. These errors could be
- syntax errors;
- logic errors but not syntax;
- errors due to wrong calculations or inadequate codes.

You are to correct all errors. The SAS log generated from running
your SAS codes is expected to be error free.
## Program Submission

You are to **submit SAS codes only** through email and get a confirmation
of receipt from the instructor before you leave.
